Homemade Supper

Well, tonight I put all my pizza making skills back into action and I will have to say that I didn't forget a thing. The boys sure loved it and I was really impressed with myself. Just like riding a bike, you never forget how to do it. We made it right from scratch, from the dough to the cheese. Okay, that was store bought, and so was the pizza sauce and the pepperoni...but hey the dough was made from scratch.

Daily Refreshment

Tomorrow is Bryson's half birthday that we usually celebrate every June. Then in July is Zeke's birthday, so this year we thought about getting them both something that they would love to use. Of course it is stinking hot here, so we bought a pool. Not a real expensive one, but just perfect for our family right now. They boys went swimming tonight and they love the water. Plus, when we are hot, we can all just get in it and relax. This is really nice.

1974 Bricklin

My dad loves to get project cars, and here is the latest one that he just bought. This is not the actual car, but just a video of what he has. I am sure when he gets done with it, it will be a lot nicer than the one in the video. Can't wait to see it dad!

Boys Bunk Bed

The boys have been doing really good in their bunk beds. Here recently I got the ladder up for Bryson and he does pretty good about getting up and down by himself. I remember these bunk bed things when my brother and I shared a room. The boys need to share here now cause we are getting AJ's room ready. They love sleeping in these things.

Happy Father's Day!

The day before Father's Day we gave Nick some of his present. It was the new "Ghost Rider" movie that came with a really cool bandana! We went out to eat that night at one of Nick's favorite restaurants, Spanky's. It was a good time except Nick didn't really feel well. Please pray for him 'cause he's still not feeling too hot.

Oklahoma Trip

The boys and I had a great time in Oklahoma. It's been crazy busy since we've been home but I guess that's the way the summer goes. While we were in Oklahoma we went to my brother's wedding which was really nice. Then the next weekend we went to my sister's graduation from medical school. Congratulations Doctor Jennifer E. Ward!!! It was nice to be there for two wonderful events.

In between we hung out with my friend Rachael and Kelly and their kids. We went to the park and fed the ducks. It was a lot of fun. I also got to see Rachael's new baby girl the next week. It was really awesome! It's funny 'cause she has two boys and had a girl and I have two boys and will be having a girl soon.

Nursery

Well, it is Monday night and there is only 3 more days till I get my other half back. I miss my family so much and I can't wait until they get back. While they have been gone, I have got to do a lot around the house. I steem cleaned the carpets, fixed the boys room (put their bunk beds together) and started putting the nursery together for AJ. The photos will show what I have done so far, but I have to thank God for the wonderful blessing on all the baby furniture. You see, when we moved, we sold all we had cause we didn't think we were going to have any more kids. Well, you know I had to have a little girl so we had to start all over. But here is the wonderful blessing from God. All the furniture you see and the bedding for the nursery theme we got from a garage sale all for less than $100. You can't beat that. We looked up online how much this stuff was originally and it is over $300. Thank you Lord!

I NEED MY FAMILY

As you can see, I have been on my own for the past week and I am getting pretty ugly. I still have another week, OH wait! It is now Friday so actually I only have 6 more days. YES!!!!! Amanda and the boys have been in OK with family for the past week. Her brother got married and then this weekend her sister graduates from Medical school. Then finally her mom will be off of school next week and so they will get to hang out for a while, then I will go pick them up in Jacksonville on Thursday. I am surviving, but it sure has been lonely. I finally got groceries yesterday when I should have gotten them a week ago. Tonight the youth group guys are coming to my house for a night of movies and video games, and then tomorrow morning we are going to one of the teens home to play paintball. It is going to be fun. Well, pray for me that I get a little better lookin than this picture.
