IT'S A GIRL!

Today we found out that we are having a girl! We are so excited cause now we can finally shop for girl things. This past weekend we went to garage sales and it killed us cause we saw so much we could get, but didn't know what we were having. Now the OBGYN said for sure it is a girl. Her name is Arianna Jane Church. Thanks for all the prayers.

I had to stay home with the boys while she went to her appointment and when she walked in the door, she laid this pretty dress on me and so I knew what we were going to have. This will be the first dress she will wear to church. It is pretty in pink!

PRAY FOR VT

I just wanted to say that our thoughts and prayers are going out to Virginia Tech at this very moment. We happen to know some people there and we pray they are okay. God is still in control and we need to pray for the Christians on that campus as this is a great opportunity to help those who are looking for answers. We need to remember that Jesus is the only Answer for us and for VT

Great Day

Today sure is beautiful outside. Finally the wind died down and I wanted to golf so bad, that Bryson and I went together. He is so funny, he drove the golf cart around for me and then when I would put, he would take his ball and putter and do the same. We had a really good time. Nothing will ever be more fun than hanging out with my boys.

This past weekend sure was tough, but God got us through it. Our Pastor and his family were up North for the weekend so I got to take all of Sunday's activities. I was reminded very soon of the Pastor role again as we had to make hospital visits all weekend and even on Sunday. One of our members had a heartattack, but thank God he is doing better. Please pray for him, his name is Grady Wilson. I preached Sunday morning and then we had Youth Night in the evening service. All went well, and I thank God for the experience He allowed me to have as a Pastor, but I am glad that I can be here for Pastor Ron to help when needed. I love doing what I am doing today. I am just reminded more this past weekend to pray for my Pastor more.

Well, here is a funny picture of Bryson on our Spring Break trip and then this past weekend at Pit Stop we played my favorite game, pillow basketball.

Great Weekend

Well, today is Tuesday and I finally have some time to post something on the blog. We have had a wonderful weekend with lots of activities going on. Last week was Spring Break for our teens so we took some of them on a camping trip and also went to Carowids Theme Park in Charolette NC. It was fun. Them my parents met us there and they took the boys for us. They came back home with us and got to spend Easter with us. That was great. Yesterday we all went to the Oatland Education Center on Oatland Island. It was fun. Never been there before so it was good to know what is around here. Anyways, I just wanted to let everyone know what we have been up to. I will post more picuters later, but here are just a few from our weekend.

Funny

Okay, so we admit it, we watch American Idol. We always have, but why not watch it? I mean, past seasons have been great, but this season is just showing how stupid America is to keep Sanjaya on the show. In case you don't know who he is, he can't sing and he definetly can't dance. Play this video, it is halarious.

Preschool Easter Party

Today Bryson had his preschool Easter party. We brought enough eggs so Zeke could do it too. They hunted for eggs and then we had to get all the ants (FIRE ants) out of them. It was pretty crazy! Then they sang us a song about how Easter is about our risen Lord and ate a bunch of goodies. They really had a lot of fun!

Busy Weekend

This weekend was very busy. For our youth group, we brought in the Aletheian singers from Trinity Baptist College. It was a good time as they sang music, did a skit and preched in our Saturday night activity and at sunday school. Bryson on Sunday nights is part of a children's choir so Sunday night they sang some songs that they had been practicing. Bryson always holds out the notes longer than anybody else! Then as you can tell, we are gearing up for our 5th member of this family as now the boys have to share a bedroom. We have been looking for buckbeds and they can be bit expensive, but we were at the thrift store last night for no reason really, but God knew better for us. We bought the boys a nice bunckbed set, mattress and all for only $40. Thank you Lord for always blessing us. They really like them.

Except when I went to check on them before Amanda and I went to bed, I looked in Zeke's bed and he was not there. I couldn't find him, but then sometime throught he night he buncked up with his big brother. It was really cute. They are awesome boys.
